Most dangerous animal in Africa.

Man obviously holds the No. 1 spot on the list. Man probably kills more people in Africa than all the other animals put together. We're very good at it.

The mosquito holds the number 2 position by a very large margin, accounting for more than 500 000 deaths in Africa annually.

A very good friend of mine spent the last 18 years of his illustrious career as Chief Game Ranger in the Kruger National Park. He was a giant among men, and had survived innumerable life threatening encounters with lions,buffaloes,elephant,hippos,snakes... - you name it.

He was eventually killed by a mosquito.
